TSM, CYS and DPW - Failed the Victims of Sandusky

Three entities CYS, DPW and TSM all staffed with professionals trained for recognizing child sexual abuse were aware of the Jerry Sandusky showers in 1998. None of those three were Penn State University. The public outcry following Attorney General Linda Kelly's Grand Jury Presentment, press release, and press conference focused on Penn State and Joe Paterno. But where is the outrage against these organizations who's reason for existence is based on protecting children?

Freeh’s mission, provided to him by the BOT, was to find of what PSU officials did wrong. That bias resulted in Freeh missing key evidence that shows DPW wanted to shut down the 1998 Sandusky investigation quickly.

A SMOKING GUN IN THE FREEH REPORT that focuses on the real reason Sandusky was not discovered in 1998?. This information comes directly from the Freeh Report and a little research. Freeh's investigators got some good information - but did they fail to connect the dots and follow the trail? This is what I discovered - you will have to determine it's value and impact. I hope it is not divisive since it has little to do with the actions or inaction of Joe, Tim or Gary in 2001 and only involves what could have been known in 1998 but slipped away due to a colossal mistake or a hidden hand.

Analysis: Coach is NOT believed to be Paterno

In my last post, I concluded, based on the evidence, that Joe Paterno, Graham Spanier, Tim Curley, and Gary Schultz were not provided with frequent updates on the 1998 investigation.  In this post, I will demonstrate that the Freeh Report’s assumption that “Coach is believed to be Paterno” (page 49) is incorrect  (excerpt follows).

A media tsunami is reporting everywhere the Freeh Report proves Joe Paterno was very aware of the 1998 investigation and that he LIED.
